In 2018, we collaborated on a year long direct mail campaign with the commercial food photography studio known as Burklehagen. We worked with Andrew & David to name and launch a monthly print, email and social series all about good food.
The #inthekitchenwithburklehagen series highlights some of the best chefs, stylists and the things they love to eat and drink. The goal of the series was to feature a new chef, stylist and recipe each month in either in print or email. In a way, it was a challenge and we were delighted to help deliver it.
We began with creating a lively, typographic identity for the series that paired well with the duo’s existing brand and imagery. We then designed a print mailer which housed a brief interview, a step-by-step recipe and featured a drool worthy image.
Every other month, we’d send an email version of the mailer that featured the same components just in a digital format. In addition, we created corresponding social art for the recipes to be shared on their business pages.
