Studio Coordinator

The studio of Christine Wisnieski is looking for a part-time studio coordinator to join its team this summer. In this role, the studio coordinator will be responsible for creating an impression of warmth, professionalism and efficiency.

The ideal candidate is proactive, an excellent communicator and highly organized. They are positive in their approach and maintain relationships with ease. They ensure projects are successful by managing risk and minimizing uncertainty. They are task-driven, clear and concise communicators. They facilitate the project process by ensuring clients and design team remain on-task and on-budget, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all parties.

DUTIES & TASKS

Project Management (75%)

  • Onboard new projects including, project schedule, billing, kick-off questionnaire and meeting date

  • Manage master studio schedule, including new business and active projects

  • Assist with resource and project capacity planning

  • Participate in weekly studio meeting with design team to review upcoming meetings and prioritize project tasks

  • Manage studio calendar, including new business meetings and design reviews

  • Assist designers with sourcing and ordering

  • Organize/submit production specs and manage vendor requests

  • Deliver client production quotes

  • Manage client correspondence

  • Attend client design reviews when needed

  • Request and gather all needed project content/information from client

  • Manage client requests as it relates to project scope, and insure quality control for all deliverables

  • Craft creative briefs

  • Project proofing


Studio Brand and General Management (25%)

  • Plan any studio-related events

  • Assist with maintaining the space, including: studio inventory, equipment, and key point of contact for any maintenance/repairs issues.

  • Maintain studio mood

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, G Suite, and Excel

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and task management softwares, a plus

  • Strong writing and editing skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Considered to have an eye for design and enjoys the creative process

  • A working knowledge of the design industry, or willingness to learn

HOURS
This role is a part-time contractor position, 10-15 hours a week to start, with potential to increase by fall. No holidays or weekends.
