An award-winning chef’s flagship restaurant goes modern.
James Beard Award Winning Chef Jonathon Sawyer dishes up some of the most recognized French-inspired bistro fare. We worked with Team Sawyer to evolve a six-year-old logo and menu system to closely match the personality of the chef—bold and thoughtful with an appreciation for order and fun.
Inspired by the restaurant’s tavern roots, the menu system follows a simple everyday layout similar to that of a newspaper. The menu’s color palette transitions with the seasons. The children’s menu is unexpected and offers petite-sized portions of select menu items to inspire little ones to appreciate fresh local food.
